my wife, the mole

Many kudos to my lovely wife...lemme 'splain. We finished up moving into a new house, and this required crawling under the house to run 300 feet or so of CAT-5 cable. The crawl space is about two feet, problem is the entry into the crawl space is less than half of that. For me to fit would require greasing me up with lard and shoehorning me in with a canoe paddle. Like a trooper Michelle wiggled in and ran the cable, spiders be damned. Every time I do something stupid I wonder why she ever married me.

Just out of curiousity, did you put the ends on afterwards? If they were on before, was the cable tested first?
You are a lucky man BTW.

Better not let her catch you reading that article of wireless networking

Congrats on getting it wired though.

We don't have the money to invest in wireless hardware right now. I tested each cable on a friend's network last week. His cables are laying all over the floor with throw rugs on top of 'em, which would be fine by me but did not pass muster with The Wife. Neither did running them along baseboards.

Thou art blessed for having such a wonderful woman.

I'd give 10 years of my lifetime just to find a woman like yours. Sniff!!

You are a lucky man. What she has done is not the realm of normal human experience. Again, congratulations.
