Color cases
I want to find a way to paint cases, for many of my customers are tired of the white color.
But it seems that a special paint is required. And a proccess too. Since the cases have metal and plastic parts, maybe paint for metal will not stick to plastic surfaces. Any ideas?

Get a subscription to MaximumPC magazine. Quite often, they have stories about case painting using auto-paint. I couldn't imagine though that you would be able to get customers to pay for all the labor and expense of case painting. You can get some nice colored cases from Directron at some pretty good prices. You can even get accessories to match.

There are some really nice jobs out there ... on one particular website, I recall in particular seeing a chrome model, a fine piece of workmanship. I can't imagine clients wanting to pay for that either. If it's just a matter of getting a different colour than beige, a prefab one would probably do fine ... for unique ones, it's something for a hobbyist to do.

They have all sorts of wild stuff there, but you pay for it. Note: if you order, be sure to check the listed measurements. I've seen a couple folks order a "full tower" from them and they received a middle tower. |
