Don't know if MediaPlayer has DVD funtionality, but converting a DVD to a MPEG stream is rather time consuming. Just download PowerDVD or any of the other players and use that to watch the DVD.

Rather time consuming, as in 10-12 hours per 1:30 long movie .

Cool DVD to MPEG for burn on CD!

thanks for every bodys suggestion, but the whole point is if anyway possible( maybe software)to reduce the size of DVD files ( each one about one GIG )so this way I can fit on the 700MB CDR, ( instead of pay 20...something to buy dvd movie ), you know just for fun!!

Yes, possible, but incredibly time consuming as metioned above. Multiply the length of the movie times 6 and that's how long it'll take on average.

Sorry, but you can't discuss the details here guys, keep it to email if you wanna continue it further.
