what should I do?

I have a $100 gift certificate for Amazon.com which expires 8/15/02, should I wait for pirces to drop on a GeForce 3, or what? My system is as follows:

16x Toshiba DVD ROM
HP CD-RW(plenty good for me)
15GB HDD(far from full)
$13 floppy
FIC AD11 with 1.2GHZ/266fsb T-bird and loud orb cooler(If I don't hear that fan anymore, time to shut off the computer )
512MB PC2100 RAM
Altec Lansing speakers(pretty old, using on board AC97 audio)
3Com 10/100 network card for my cable modem
Matrox G400(hey, it's better than my old VooDoo2)

I eventually want get a video card with TV out, and I kinda like the ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon, but Amazon.com doesn't have the All-In-Wonder Radeon(have many Radeons, and All-In-Wonders, but not the one I want )

A lot of folks are doing OK with the ATI AIW radeon. There is more to that card than just a TV out. Is having a TV tuner important?
BTW, does the Geforce have TV out also?

Hmmm, we use ATI almost exclusively in our shop without a hitch. It's a personal preference really. If you want pure speed, GeForce, picture quality, Radeon. I agree, the ATI AIW is a cool piece of hardware.

I've got to agree with HAL on this one: each to his own. I've seen the Radeon 8500 in action and it's impressive as hell. I've never had any problem with any ATI product nor has anyone I've recommended get an ATI product. With any nVidia product, you're depending on the quality of the company who's licensing the chipset for their card. Some suck, some rock -- doesn't seem to be a clear in-between.

So if speeds your only concern, get the GeForce3. If picture quality is more your flavor, the Radeon kicks arse.

Problem is I prefer picture quality over speed, and I don't want to spend too much money($100 at very most). But I haven't seen any Radeons with TV-out on amazon.com(is not like amazon focuses on PC), besides the GeForce 3 on amazon is too expensive.
