Exclamation Crucial at Best Buys on sale this week!

Hi everbody,
Just wanted to let you know you can get a deal on Crucial memory this week at Bestbuys.
128 MB PC133 $29.99-$8.00 Mail in rebate -$12.00 instant rebate = $9.99

256MB PC133 SDRAM $49.99 -$10.00 Mail in rebate - $15.00 instant rebate= $24.99

There is a limit of one rebate per customer so take your wife, daughter, or son lol. On a serios note you can't beat these prices I know I'm going to swing by there this week I just hope some are left when I get there. Maybe while i'm there i'll treat myself to a big screen tv or a digital camera, naaaaa

I bought some yesterday - they had plenty left.

Catch22: Mail-In rebate - they are requiring the original UPC code but on the other receipt it says - if you remove the original UPC code from the packaging you loose all options on a refund, etc. - So, what do you do if the RAM stick goes bad?

Anyone?

As I understand it, BestBuy's return policy on computer components is 14 days. Just wait the 14 days and then send in the rebate.

If it's bad, you know it the minute you try to boot the system.

Either way you still get the lifetime warranty from Crucial.
You usually get two reciepts one for the rebate and one for your prooof of purchase. If you did want to return it to Best Buys you have your reciept, plus the remaining package and the marked Crucial sick of ram. Either way it is a Best Buy at Best Buys. Rebates don't bother me I write em up and send em out as soon as I get home. I got one back recently from the HP printer I bought at Best Buys, the $30.00 rebate was back within a record two weeks. Ya think HP has money? lol.

I am just putting the final touch onto my new system (AMD XP1700 / Gigabyte 7DX motherboard). The memory seems to work fine. I guess I am almost ready to send out the rebate form. "Show me the money!"
