Here's your sign

This sounds like something you would see on TV (either sitcom or maybe on Cheaters or Springer).

Pulling these shenanigans in her 50s? That's not something I'd expect.

Meth ages people quickly. It has become a huge problem in this country.

My previous pastor preached a sermon about meth. I am not sure where he got the info, but he said that it was the type of drug that some could take it once and not use it again, but generally if they did it twice they were hooked.

So some searching Nuke.. that is in fact what Meth does to you. You can find the pics on other sites... that's the same woman from age 27-37, died at 38.

They lose their teeth over time is why their cheeks look like that. It's not just from being extremely thin.

I live in a place were it is very rampant... the change is incredible. There is so much of that around and there are more meth labs than enforcement can keep up with.

It's definitely a bad deal... seen the changes personally over the few short years they abuse the drug and it makes them do real stupid stuff to get more... not eat someones face off but try making the substance in pop bottles in grocery stores and in local parks, neighbors trash cans....

most that do it 1 time are hooked. I've never met anyone whos done meth and walked away from it....

Oh it is real my friend. I have seen the debilitating progression with my own eyes. It is also not prejudice to the user's starting age. I have witnessed a 30 year old man looking 60's after 10 years of abuse. He died at the end of the tenth year.

I have some friends who are addicts of various devices... the one girl has a daughter who was once very attractive...when she was in her teens and coming of age she was drop dead gorgeous... I mean this girl had the face, hair and the body to be a knock out model... she was a real looker, dressed very nice and was very well rounded. Smart and got good grades in school. She could have gotten a full ride on her smarts

I think because of her parents use she garnered the wrong kind of attention from the wrong people or just the wrong kind of people sought her out who knows. The girl got into drugs before she was out of her teens. she now has several kids by several different dads and is in her mid 20s and her looks have slowly gone by the way side. Skinny as a bean pole and looking very rough and sickly... it's very sad.

Yikes! I still find it hard to believe that the first pic was her at age 27. Guess she had already been on it for a while by then, as she looks 40 in that pic. Dreadful doesn't even begin to describe this.

They get skinny like anorexics and their skin looks sandblasted. They lose their kidneys and livers too. The problem is it is made differently and contaminated by all kinds of things.

Did you see any of the pics where people have literally picked holes in their skin because they think the meth crystals are coming out of their sweat glands? They pick off chunks of skin, then eat it.

Wow, that's intense. I've seen people strung out on different drugs, but that was years ago for me. But I cant remember seeing anybody age that fast-on any drug I remember.

I remember when crack hit the scene. It had a trait of not being able to reach the same high with an equal amount. Where you had to do more each time to get the same high. That's what made it(crack) such a killer, people would easily overdose trying to reach that same or better high.

I'm curious if meth has the same or similiar trait. Anybody know?

He He. Crack is simple. It is cocaine with baking soda and cooked. It is smoked so people get more and addicted easier. It is not the same as power coke . The problem is it lasts a short time and is intense and you cannot tell what cut agent you may be smoking. With powder you know if it hurts or does not numb.
Now the dreaded meth can be made with all kinds of things - I would bet if you tried to get some it would be a mix with whatever drugs the "cooker" had. It is often a toxic mix and you can never tell.

So with Meth, it's a crapshoot whether you get some from a batch that is deadly?
Do I understand that right?

Exactly. Never do it. Even If you make it yourself the recipe could be wrong. Everyone I knew that used it often is dead. I have personally watched many people mess up with that stuff. Addictive, I doubt it is but it could get the exact sucker because it is cheap. Either way one will die if they decide to make it their drug of choice – in short time.
Send a PM if you want to know more. Not comfortable saying anything that could be construed as positive about any drug. I would never do Meth.

Yes, with meth, you have to do more all the time.

Most of the men I have worked with did not have any kind of nurturing growing up. When kids are left to their own devices (not nurtured), typically they will make poor decisions. Unfortunately with drugs, it is in those first couple choices that they get hooked. It then snowballs. One of the dramatic changes in our society today is the demise of the traditional "nuclear family" We are seeing more and more drug addition, entitlement, STD's , and morality issues as a result of the modern family structure. Mother's provided the majority of the nurturing in this structure. Nurturing is less present in today's modern family structure. Most nurturing if any is occurring outside of the family unit or by day care personal, friends of family, etc. Men really have little value in this new, modern structure. Men's new role is romance. It is no longer the provider, protector, and decision maker. This is the generation of the Alpha Female and the kids are bearing the brunt. The Alpha female is the head of the house, protector, provider, and decision maker. Men are something out of the "Bachelor".

Put it this way. With my retail experience two types of items we had were stolen to make meth: Sudafed (pseudoephedrine) and lithium batteries. No thanks. We also had cough syrup and infant formula stolen for drugs, but I am not sure they were for meth (although I presume if the cough syrup had pseudoephedrine it could be).
