Need to remove some scratches from glass
I have a windshield with a crack and another windshield with a scratch. The crack on the first windshield goes all the way down to the plastic laminate. I know there are services that can fix the crack. I guess what they do is put a chemical into the crack using capilary action and then it dries?
I have looked at the glass polishing kits which remove the scratch by buffing it out, but this only works for very shallow scratches. Does anyone know what the chemical or product name is that goes down into the crack or scratch?
