Just take a look here. Best system is relative to what you really need it for. Mine may not be the fastest on the block, but I'm quite happy with them as are others.

Well, I don't have such a fast processor, but I have:

1. TFT Monitor (better than CRTs )
2. TV card with MPEG-2 encoding chip (can record in dvd format)
3. 61,5 GB 7200rpm UDMA100 + 17,2 GB 5400rpm UDMA66 hard drives -> 78,7 GB hard drive.

I can guarantee mine's the most expensive. Then again, how many of you are running 4 monitors, 1 being a Apple 22" Cinema widescreen?

Talking Hey Reedimus...

I'm on "The Mutt" right now (Pentium 233MHz), but I also use a PII 400MHz as my main rig. I got a Sound Blaster 64AWE in mine though (don't know why, I have all sound events set to none and I never listen to music on it). Been a real trooper for the past 3 and a half years. I'm not quite ready to give it up yet as it does everything I need it to do.
