Penny Stocks
I once inquired about such and was given a warning by David to avoid, as they like to "pump & dump" and he is right. All the free newsletter e-mails you get saying to "buy". Boy, I asked too late but lesson learned. I will say that it can be a rigged game; having the right info and timing, one can reap when it becomes dumping time, actually right before. Have done nicely since but as David said, beware of "pump & dump".

Right on Sarge. Who do you think these people are who are pushing these low volume, low float stocks? People who have already bought in and are going to sell into the buying that they create with their newsletters. People have the right to promote or to bash companies that issue shares of stock.

Right-on David. A racket. If one knows how to time it, there is a profit to be made, if you can get past the $7 sell commission that is. lol. I like it when myself, et al, can boast we have 5000 shares in something we bought for dirt then goes even lower. All about timing as you say.
