cheap video camera
looking to purchase a "cheap" (<$125 if poss) digital still camera for basic tasks such as: phtographing equipment while i disassemble/sending basic pix over internet etc.
aby suggestions? shall i try auctions for "used" cameras? tx |

There's a couple here for under 50 bucks. My father has the 26 dollar one, it does fine for e-mail type pics, nothing printable though. Also, transferring pics through serial port is SLOW. I have a Kodak DC3200 (1.0 mp) that I scored for 119 at Wal-Mart, hadda buy a card reader. HP makes one, also carried at Wal Mart, in your price range that comes with a USB cable.

USB card readers are cheap enough - $29.95 will get you a Sandisk compact flash media mate. Smart media and Sony memory stick readers are a bit more expensive. You can always use a $8 PCMCIA card adapter for compact flash in your laptop.
