I used to chat a lot with Cricket via PM (still have a few of his messages in my inbox). He got really into photography and started visiting a photography forum and thats when his interest in computers started to slide.

This one of my favourite PM's with Chris and dates back to January 2008.

I would like to extend a personal Thank You to you for all your help over the years and hopefuly many years to come.

Thank You.
I hope your New Year went well and I wish you all the best in this year and the future.

Thanx.
Richard. aka rjfvillarosa...
Thank you Richard and a Happy New Year to you too.

Gee, it has been a long time since I first found this forum and decided to stay. I think I've been here this long only because of the wonderful work done by the mods and admin in keeping this one of the most civil, friendly and helpful computer forums on the net. This place is great.

And no need for a public Thank You or anything like that, I'm not looking for recognition of any kind (although it's nice to be appreciated). I just like to help people with their computer problems and this forum is a great place to do just that.

I don't know if you noticed but I haven't been posting as much lately because of my new hobby...digital photography...now I'm the newbie hanging out at a digital camera forum and trying to learn as much as I can from their seasoned veterans. When I get better I may put some photos up in Strider's Photography Group Club over at Flickr...if I get better...LOL...

Anyway, thanks for thinking about me and letting me know I'm appreciated. It's nice to know I'm doing some good.

Thanks,
Chris aka Cricket

Well hello everyone!

I got an email this morning wishing me a happy birthday from PC Mech and I thought to myself, "Hey self... you should go say hi at PC Mech!". This thread was one of the first that I noticed. Fancy that!
