Suspects
Weird - in one pic the guy in white hat has a clean shaven face and short hair. In another he's bushy faced with sideburns. Not the first who noticed that.

![]() FBI releases new photos of suspects in Boston Marathon bombing - U.S. News Bomb fragments Anatomy of a bombing: Photos show battery, wires used in device - PhotoBlog I think the chances of catching them are pretty good. Their faces are pretty clear in a few of the photos. Somebody is bound to recognize them. Somebody who was there is bound to come up with some even clearer photos after seeing these photos. These bastards need to be hung.

I guess now the media is going to be all giddy that the suspects are "white conservative extremists"

You got that right. If they weren't, they would pull out the infamous race card bit.

That's a given with our media. You can bet they will have this label slapped on them even before anyone knows who they are. I already know which network is going to place this label on them first, but that might be getting political.

Boy is it getting really interesting back home.. I hope when all is said and done, this guy is arrested rather then dead. So the families can actually have justice served..

Talking about martial law, shutting down a town of 700,000 in Boston plus other towns, businesses closed, folks told to stay inside and lock doors. Looks like the terrorists won if that continues indefinitely.

I wonder what happens when they find a house full of pot instead of pot roasters.

He won even though caught. Shut down a major city and suburbs, a billion dollars lost in economy, everyone hunkered behind locked doors. Think about it. Send all those cops to Chicago this weekend, 50 people will still be alive Monday.

Boston moves about a billion dollars a day, but not all of that is lost--plenty of people can still telecommute. Indeed...it was quite the investigation--not only with law enforcement, but millions of people on the internet putting some of the pieces of the puzzle together. Quite extraordinary. From the cops point if view, that would have been the real crime.

Am glad it's over, but it's not a game as so many folks I witnessed today, treating it like a football or baseball game. What I saw at many places made me wonder how they don't have a clue. Shutting down a huge metro area is huge. Those guys don't value their own life and a win for their cause - that is why they call it terrorism. My wish is that we learn, not keep score and pat ourselves on the back too hard.

Ha, I've been under a rock! Didn't even know about all this till early afternoon today. I don't watch the news much, or listen to it. I always catch the big stuff late.
But, it ain't over. Catching him is just a bit of icing for the cake. Tinsel on the Christmas tree for the media and those immediately affected by his capture. That was not a job of two guys. Intelligence knows this. I think he better hope he doesn't live long enough for our guys to get hold of 'im. And not let the media interrupt or be involved at all.

I thought it was interesting that a Muslim was taken to Beth Israel Hospital. The good news for him is that he won't be getting pork chops for dinner.

You do know that this thread being allowed to exist because of the nature of things the past week, same as after 9/11. That's my opinion based on experience. Very close to WH material. I wouldn't push it...
