Can someone explain this- 'boot maybe?

Can someone explain me this?

Win2000, 2x 400 cellys @ 558 ea., 256Mb pc133,
Dial-up 56K, Diamond Supra Express Int. modem, 50.6Kbps connection.

Couldn't believe this myself, didn't close 'till I took screenshot:

I understan, I get ~8-9KB/s while updating InoculateIT(autodownload)- just took it:



I get sometimes up to 25/KB on other d/l'ds, but, excuse me, how can it be 149KB/s on 56K dial-up?

I'd imagine that you had the pic cached. So when it went to DL it, it found it in your cache, so the <1 sec copy time was used to determine "download speed".

Yup, the pic was somewhere in the cache, so the "download" time was measured in how long it took to find and read it from the cache.

Prolly 'boot and Paul are right.
I've opened one pic(rest all- right click> save target as...), not sure that it was the one with the 149kB/s d/l.
Since I'm not sure, I would agree with Paul and Jim.

Got I too exited?
