Talking Members Gallery - Send in your photo!

This is for anyone who hasn't read or checked the Members Gallery thread in a while.

I've set up a members gallery for PC Mech forum members to send in their pics so we can all see what everyone looks like. Here is the link:

PC Mechanic Members Gallery

Thanks.

There, I stuck this thread on the top, so hopefully it gets some attention instead of floating down to the bottom of the threads.

Yea... I have one that I think I'll use, but I want to rescan it. It's not too bad, but a bit fuzzy.

Just added a random image feature to the main page, everytime you refresh it displays a random member photo. Enjoy!

You know, I've felt almost at home in this forum.

And now that I can "know" some of the members, well I'm almost about to refer to you as family.

Kudos for this Gallery!!

Unhappy

Yeah, I remembered sending in my photo a year ago, but somehow never got anywhere. I guess, some politics here and there, though I can live with that . But just when I think there's a free world of there, but unfortunately, people from different continent don't get the same privilleges anywhere, I guess.

What continent/country (sg?) is it that Dr.Z is so obviously prejudiced against?

Oh, and just in case you Heuristic ALgorithmic beings are not as good at reading between the lines as us humans, that was sarcasm.

I would suggest sending in your pic again if you so desire. The previous gallery was started by a member on his own time and resources much like Dr Z. has, but this member has since vanished. Several attempts were made to contact this person VIA e-mail, but no response has ever been received, and as such, the gallery died. I would imagine that you submitted your photo somewhere around the time of the member disappearance.

I hope this explanation has helped.

I am wondering where moonlight burner hails from. I don't understand what sg refers to either HAL. By the way you're living up to you're namesake admirably, but don't worry, I won't try to pull you're memory chips! (That's a joke, Ha-Ha. Can you say paraniod? Don't take things so seriously HAL. I know Dr. Z put alot of effort into the Gallery and he has nothing but my admiration, ditto for you, in spite of your views on VIA. Another joke. Personally, I am very aware of PCMech"s and it's members impartiality. Perhaps my sarcasm was inappropriate. It does get me in trouble socially more often than not. Sorry if it seemed I was disparaging you Dr. Z.)

Actually, it just hit me and I should have known as I know people form Singapore.

No offense, it's just seemed that your comments could easily be taken in "bad taste" which is why I chose to make my comment.

Ahh, Singapore! Now I understand the political reference burner made. Hey, don't believe it influences any of us here on PCMech, burner! As much stuff as we buy from Asia, we gotta be pro WTO.

Yeah, Yeah, if you have the experience. Facts sometimes hurt, that's life, whether u like it or not.

We could do with some readable English. What the hell is Heuristic Algorithmic, I don't even want to know.

Yes, it seems to me this thread is turning into a big misunderstanding. If someone feels insulted in this thread please openly state so it can be corrected and if necessary apologies can be made. I just don't want to end up having to close this thread over a misunderstanding.

I was not offended in any way, I was only confused as to what moonlight burner was talking about, and frankly I still don't understand what the whole mess was about.

Regardless, I finally hooked up my scanner and uploaded a pic. That's the only one I could find at the moment, I'll post a better one soon, if one is found.

It was a message to me, Heuristic ALgorithmic. Some sarcasm was intended. There was a misunderstanding, and I do believe that it has been sorted out.

Moonlight burner, I don't know if the explanation I gave in my earlier post above was satisfactory or not, but it is the best explanation that can be offered. There was never an attempt at a personal attack or discrimination towards you.
