Definately Fry's, beware of the white return sticker, it's on everything. And their service is horrible.

ok. Circut City has nothing but teens working there, and these particular teenagers love to play around, hop around, play on the computers, watch tv and ignore customers at work. Now you can see what pain a person must go thru to find their restroom.

I've got a great story from Circuit City that happened a few days after Christmas. We went in looking at flat-screen TV's -- I've been doing tons of research and have decided on either the Sony VEGA or Toshiba AF series. But I like to play headgames with salespeople, so off I went.

I told this kid I was looking for something in the 27-32" range for my living room. I planned on having a VCR, DVD player, DSS and X-Box hooked up to it and it would also go through my home theater. The room it was going in was wider than deep, so viewability was important. What would he suggest. Knowing full well Circuit City salespeople are commissioned, I knew I would get a load of $*** from this kid, but wanted to see what he would come up with.

He suggested a 32" RCA -- I almost tossed my cookies. For those of you that don't know, three years ago, RCA was purchased by General Electric. RCA TV's a crap -- plain and simple. They used to make great products -- but when you're making a TV that lasts 15 years, you've got product sitting on shelves rather than going in homes, so RCA has become nothing more than a name.

I asked him why he suggested the RCA nad not this real cool flat-screen *pointed to Toshiba and Sony*. I was told that flat-screen TV's are passe and won't do much in the market because they are too costly and why would I want one of those -- if I was willing to spend that kind of money, I might want to look at High-Def TV's. At this point, the kid got the lesson of his life (along with everyone in the department). I ranted and raved about the benefits of flat-screen technology and how RCA was bought by GE and are nothing but crap. Two customers who were buying those same RCA's were standing there jaws wide open ready to kill their salespeople. I then announced that Best Buy had those flat-screen and all their TV's on sale and their salespeople, although sometimes wrong, are not commissioned so they are not prone to sell you what will provide them the highest margin.

What a fun Friday. God I'm such a B*^*ch

Circuit City is full of little teenybopper salespeople. Remember when they were selling Divx players? They were already in the process of phasing them out when one of their sales geeks was preaching their supremacy. Another salesman was trying to get his attention and told him what he already should have known. He mustve felt like a real ass, after his speil. Their Dvds are overpriced and they carry all the junk brands. Im surprised anything there works after the
idiots in the back room get done playing catch with it. Best buy will put them out of buisiness soon. Comp Usa is so understaffed and youre lucky if you can find someone who has skills other than tying their shoes. Theyve gone overboard with their rebate stuff that you send in and never get the rebate for. They dont even have the 2100 memory yet. By the time they get the stuff it will be $125 for a stick of 256!

Put my vote in for Circuit City! All they do there is follow me round, hoping I don't steal anything. When I do have a question, there is nobody to be found. I know I'm only 22, so maybe they wouldn't target me for their commission...how little they know. Oh well, I've since found the light of NewEgg, and they get most of my business!

In my opinion, Circuit City and CompUSA are one in the same when it comes to their sales help. Maybe different in other areas but not here. At least CompUSA is usually better stocked than Circuit City and most of the time, prices aren't too bad.
