Looking for Computer Support Statistics
Hi Folks,
This may sound a bit strange but I'm trying to get my hands on some computer support statistics. I would like to see any research done that would tell me what percentage of tech calls are because of faulty hardware, software, user messed up, etc. Does anyone know where I might find anything like this on the Internet? User error/explanation --- about 80%
Faulty software --- about 15% Faulty hardware --- about 5% I've been doing phone support for about 2 years. |

I've done wholesale for 2.5 years and retail now for about 4, I think Xayd has posted some reasonable numbers.
