Hotmail
Does anyone here use Hotmail, and if so, are you having trouble? I haven't been able to log on since 12/28/01.

Howdy Carl,
Iv'e been using "hotmail" for nearly 5 years now. When I started the account I was using a Micky$oft OS as a norm. Now that I've removed that particular "monkey" my access to Hotmail has had its share of problems. I suspect one day Micky$oft will make hotmail an "Internet Explorer" only web mail utility. Unfortunately, it would be difficult to reroute mail to another service. I use Mozilla and Netscape as primary browsers. Mozilla offers the best "compatability" overall regardless if I use any form of UNIX. The oddest thing is my gaming box with Mozilla and Win98 seems the most problematic regading hotmail and my SGI box using UNIX the least problematic. I used to get "unable to access your Email account, try back later" frequently. I wish I knew the reason but I suggest the site was hacked and brought to its knees. So...yes I "had" problems but none recently. Maybe its quite simply "your turn".

Thanks everyone, the problem is solved. I had blocked Hotmail's cookies from my machine and that was a no-no. when I told IE to accept them again I got to log in.
