I post this to settle an issue..
Should we change the content to the "General Discussion" forum from this:
"Got a Rant or a Rave about something? Got a discussion you wanna carry on? Post it here!"
To this:
"If you got something other than computer related rants, raves, go to forumclick.com"

If the moderating staff and I see fit to make a change, we will make a change when the time comes. I guess I don't understand your use of the pronoun "we" directly followed by "change" which would imply you can walk into the database and do it at will...

When the General Discussion forum was started, this forum was new. The whole place was suppose to be a home for anyone, of any age shape, matter or form to discuss PC problems, get help, provide help, and carry on civil discussion that would be tame enough for children, our grandmothers, and such to read/listen to. Allowing for constant argument over hot topic issues does not breed such an environment for that to be carried out. That is basically how we try to run things here.

Although it would be nice to see anything not computer related to go to forumclick.com, I would like to see it stay. If we were to get rid of everything not PC Related, this forum would be almost as lame as that Screen Savers show on TechTV. I would like to see discussions toned down a bit in here, and some hot topics be left for the other place, but over and all I think that this forum is being utilized very nicely.
