Are we to assume that you have an annoying house guest who is going through your pork like it's going out of style?
If it were I, he'd be "kicked by the foot".

You mean your computer ate your floppy disk and need a way to punish the 'bad box'?
Unplug it for one hour and see if it does it again!

Not sure who this bob is, or really what this thread is about at all...but welcoming him into the family seems like a nice thing to do. that's my vote.

Beer, followed by King crab, steamed clams, and a nice T-bone steak. Can't hurt to mix in a nice buttermilk ranch salad, backed patato, corn on the cob or some asparagas.

You got it bob. ![]() But you will earn your keep fixing all the issues I've had in the last few weeks with the old pc. And when you're done, we can sit back and discuss conservative vs liberal issues. Sound like a plan? ![]() Carl |

The best way to solve problems with an old pc is to sell it or give it away and get a new one. Then have a beer.
Don't expect me to move in anytime soon. Already have 2 extra bedrooms and an empty guest house. Have a full fridge (1 whole shelf for beer) and nobody raiding my food - (or wallet). ![]() Carl if you need a working P-266 box (add perifs for complete system - has 16or 32MB, small HD, all basic cards ) and know someone near LA to pick it up you can have it. |

Maybe I should have said,"issues with new pc by an old man". Thanks for the offer though. Carl |

Best thing about Mexican food: it is all the same. Tortilla, meat, cheese, and vegetable with a side of rice. You can practically walk into any Mexican restaurant, say some Spanish word, and be pretty sure of what you will be eating.

Best food?
The best kind of food is that with a powerful, reach into your mouth and pull on your tongue flavor.
Not a big fan of the "subtle taste of (insert some exotic spice/ingredient only found on the northern slope of some inaccessible mountain in occupied Tibet)" types of food that really should only be washed down with a glass of wine from some left handed, blind monk holed up in a monestary, who only makes 30 bottles of wine per decade. Bold Taste Bold flavor Thats the ticket. And, of course, beer. |

It's 3am and I know Bob will steel my bacon again if I fall asleep. Damn! If I could only stay up long enough for breakfast I would finally get first pickings.
