speeding ticket lost????

I'm sure alot of u remmber a post that i made asking how to get out fo a ticket.Well today i check on www.lasuperiorcourt.org about my ticket because i haven't gotten anything from the court about it and guess what it says it can't find it.Can it be that my ticket was just lost or should i call and find out what's going as not to take a chances that my licences is gona be suspended if i don't pay the ticket.Thanks for information on this.BTW i'm from los angeles,ca

Did not see your old post but just because it is not on a web site does not seem to make a difference.

Pay it or go to court. If the web site was supposed to give you a court date then call them with the number on the ticket.

thanks for reply.The website is actually supposed to tel me how much i'm supposed to pay.I will take your sudgection and will cal this friday to find out how much i'm supposed to pay.

I'd find out what's up with the ticket. If it goes to a warrant, you've really got problems.

btw. didn't realized that it could go to warrent if the ticket is on file(for now i'm talking about the website file)and didn't get the notice on how much the ticket is.

I got a ticket once and when I went to pay it they couldn't find it on the books so they tore it up and said, "Forget about it - you got a freebie!"

just got of the phone.I was told the ticket is not in their system yet and that if i don't get it soon should go to the court and get the "prof of appearence"what ever that is supposed to mean.If it's not in their system do tha means they lost it or dose it mean they just didn't have time to enter in to their system?

Look what is says where you signed the ticket.
Does it have a date and court to appear? If not call again and get the location.
If you are lucky they lost it but if they did not you need to go to court and there will be a line/window where they will look at the ticket and give you your proof.

unfortunatly it dose have all of that info on my copy of ticket.I'm just hopping when im gona go next week to get the proff of appearence they will tell me because they don't have a copy of the original ticket that i will not have to pay.
