Thumbs up PC Mech makes the pages of Playboy

As I sat and read my Febuary 2002 issue of playboy(yes i do read the articles ;-) )Imagine my surprise when reading an article on upgrading memory when there before me this wonderful site is mentioned! (for those of you with a subscription it is on page 31) Now if everybody that read that article would buy a CD...lol Congratulations to the hard working people that make this site what it is!

A PCMech CD will no doubt make all those *lonely* tech geeks flipping through their Playboys and Penthouses very happy. Maybe they should post that page on the website. And the one after it, and the one before it, and. . .

Respectfully,

Demosthenes

This is going to be fun. I can tell my mom I'm in Playboy and watch her freak.

*Evil laughter*

I don't see anything wrong about.

Perception of masses is that playboy and penthouse are something wrong without even knowing content of these mags. And I don't think that these are for *lonely* only.

I don't read, but I've subcribed before for my friend in Lithuania who collects Playboy and Penthouse from early 80's. In fact he collects about everything: stamps, coins, cans/bottles after beer/soda(he has way over 2000 from all over the world). But really he's a freak of music(very big collection of CDs and LPs).

There are lots of all kind of articles, interviews with politicians, others from world of famous, reviews of audio/video/PC equipment, etc.

So, what's wrong here that PC Mech is featured?

DAMN! I guess by the way no one mentioned anything, I didn't make centre pages then? My mother will be truly disappointed. I told her my legs weren't good enough, but you know what mothers are like - she wouldn't listen.

Anyone remember their first issue? You know, the one where you and your friends thought it was soo cool to sneak into the store and while the clerk wasn't looking you snagged it. I'm not that old, but I can remember those days.

Yeah, I suppose if it offends you, you avoid it altogether.

I think it's obvious that there will be some people offended by this thread yet it remains up here.

Hypocrites...

Thing is, I haven't heard anyone complain about this one, where I have heard folks complain about other threads I have asked nicely to have wrapped up, and then had to close because of some of the responses.

I will go out on a limb and say that calling us Hypocrites wasn't exactly the smartest thing to do at this juncture of your forum life. I figured the nill responses to your first post in this thread would have been enough to let you know that everyone thought it was in fine taste, in fact, I find the whole thread quite funny.

With that said, I guess I shall close this one before anyone else offends someone else.
