Registry Key Question

the ENUM Key in the registry I read a thread about someone deleteting that for a video card problem.

What is the enum key for?
Where is it located?
In what cases would you use that in troubleshooting?

You can find some details on it in the Tips and Tricks section stuck on or near the top. It's the registry key that stores the data for your devices listed in device manager.
