Lightbulb Vocabulary Challenge

Alrighty, whos got the smarts or rather a large vocabulary. This is a simple challenge where you simply add letters to a small word to create a larger one. For example "_ _ throb_" becomes "bathrobe". Enjoy! (each underscore, "_" is a blank)

_ _ felon_
_holes_ _ _ _ _
_ _game_ _
_ _meow_ _ _
_ _ _ devil_ _
_ _ _turban_ _
_ _ _pagan_ _
_ _ _ hoped_ _
_ _ _ rare_
_ _orbit_ _ _
_ _ _ blest_ _ _
_ _ _ _ aura_ _

There are actually too many words that could match for each set.

Great work guys, my english teacher gives us packets of puzzles all the time. Heres one from a different puzzle that I couldnt figure out. They are two two-syllable words that rhyme. For example "a cowardly man" becomes "yellow fellow". The one I cant get is "a doctor who specializes in stomach ailments" the blanks are _ _ _ _ _ _ _ // _ _ _ _ _ _ . Good Luck! (the slshes mean thers two words)

ROFLMAO(can I say/imply that on this board?)

I think Jenni is right.

Perhaps the first is either stomach, or a special name for a delivery doctor?

Since you like these puzzles, here's another one. My English Proff gave this to us many years ago, maybe you've seen it. Can you make sense out of it? Here it is:

that that is is that that is not is not is that it it is

Ill have to get back to you on that one Ron, LOL to Jenni, although that could be it for all I know..... And also, to end the Propaganga arguement, I dont know anything about little mammals I just put it down as PropaganDa. Thats a bit more recognizable... Thanks a lot by the way guys.

Actually, it's kind of a punctuation puzzle and it goes like this:

That that is, is. That that is not, is not. Is that it? It is!

I was half right Ron, I was doing it in my head. I got "That that is, is. That that is not, is not." I was just having trouble on the "Is that it? It is!" part. I just gave myself a pat on the back ^_^ .
