Download speed, what do you think?
Last nite I was d/l'ing some songs with WinMX. I used to to 7-8KB/s(around/after midnite), but last nite I got(56K modem):

WOW! that is excellent for a 56K, horrible for a CBM :P
Maybe that was just a burst transfer speed? I think back when I had a 56K if I was lucky I could get that fast in Napster. When I got the CBM, Napster preformed the best. Now I got Morpheus and my downloads often crawl makeing me jealous of that 10.77k/s Maybe you connected to a T1 or T3? Logan

I used to get 3, 4 tops back in the days of dialup (AOL
) Now I avg. around 70-80, but usually a bit less on File-sharing programs.
