I have just about read everything I can on this site. I have parts on order from newegg for my first build. I paid with a money order so it is taking FOREVER. I am itching to get started and just trying to have some fun and pass the time while I am at work. I have a really boring job.

Talking

Well, at your current rate of 0.60 posts per day, it will only take you 4.56 YEARS to get your avatar.

You figured out all these things and you couldn't find the preview reply button?
Instead of posting you can preview the post and discover all these things

Who cares how many posts you have. I think some people think the more posts someone has the smarter they are. In some cases that may be right, but if you really wanted to have a ton of posts, you could sit on your computer all day and reply to every post and never have any pertinent info to help anyone out.

Plus all you get for a large number of posts is to pick your own avatar. Woooo big deal. It is not the avatar that makes this site the best on the internet, it is the people behind them. Otherwise there would be a website with a forum that has no members and just avatars. What good does that do when you are sitting at home with your head in your hands screaming at the top of your lungs, " I HATE COMPUTERS."

Me personally would rather get help from a knowledeable person than someone that has a cool avatar.

Sorry I vented here, but I was reading another post that someone was hoping that the number of posts or avatar options would be changed, and I thought the whole thing was just so trivial.

Really, I don't care about Avatar's, I am just bored and having some fun. If I cared about the number of posts I had, I would sit here and "bump" every post. It's just me being a goof and a smart a$$. And to be honest, I did'nt even notice the "preview post" button, I guess I am not that observant either.

Sorry useless_1

I didn't mean you. I knew I should have posted this in the other thread.

I am bored also and was just venting. Fridays are slow at work and this is really the only day besides some evenings that I get to visit the site and really see what is going on.

No problem, I see the posts where people ask for avatars' and they think it is unfair to have to wait for 1000 posts. WHO CARES??? I come here to learn a few things and if I feel the need I will add my $.02. I just got the parts for my new system from newegg about an hour ago, when I get home from work tonight I am going to start building. Hopefully it will go well, and I won't need to ask a bunch of dumb questions, if I hit a snag, I will be on here trying to get help. That is why I am here and that is how I will get my post count up, maybe someday, I will get my cool avatar... Penguin, you don't have to apologize for anything. I did'nt take offense to anything you said, hopefully nobody takes offense to anything I say. Have a good weekend.

southrk, I know where Mantua is, I looked at a few houses there a few years back. I liked the city, it was a little too "rural" for my wife though. I live in Strongsville, and I work in Bedford Heights, so I am pretty close to you. I heard of Mount Union, really not sure where it is though. Oh yea, put another notch on the old post count, should make an even 50. WOOOHOOOO.

Congrats on the new system! Good luck tonight, and if you ever get bored with it, let us know how it went! Well...4:20, if I forward my phone, and make my desk look pretty, maybe I can step out a little early today!
