when i got my first windows computer it was from gateway, which defaulted its IE homepage to (gateway.yahoo.com). since i mainly use my yahoo mail account and it has the top news stories, i have just kept it as my homepage

Yahoo, because I check my yahoo account every hour or so. Used to be www.msn.com because I used troysvihl@msn.com for my email. But then I switched to troysvihl@yahoo.com for the better email service, IMHO. (haven't tried msn latly though so maybe it's improved.)

I have YAHOO! since I usually check my mail first and it loads super fast with dial-up.

I use the Earthlink Personal Start Page. As an employee I get a free dialup account I use when traveling and part of that is the start page. It already has Google and I have two start pages I can customize to my heart's desire. Earthlink is not my ISP because I already had a contract with MSN for DSL service when I went to work for Earthlink. When that contract is up I will switch to Earthlink DSL because it is much faster. Best effort 1.5 GB download and 256 up. Besides as an emplyee it is only $25 a month opposed to the $50 I pay now.

mine is about:blank, because although i almost always go to hotmail when i first get on the internet, i hate having to wait for it to load when im just opening up netscape for something else.
