Anyone know where I can get wall transformers?

I'm looking for what I would have HOPED would be a reasonably easy beast to find, but not having a lot of luck; Digikey kind of sucks for wall transformers (they have no stock at all of anything I'd need) and Radio Shack doesn't carry the specific voltage I need.

I'm looking for a transformer, one of the "wall wart" AC/DC power supply kinds (like you have for PC speakers, game consoles, etc), that has the following features:

* Female w/ 2.5mm inner diameter (one of the standard sizes)
* Center positive
* 14.5-16.0 V DC (ideally 15V)
* 250+ mA rating

15V DC @ ~200 mA is the desired operating point. If the supply is below 14.5, it may be insufficient for a voltage regulator later in the circuit; if it's above 16, it could dump too much power into that regulator.

Anyone have an idea as to where this beast may be found?

Paul check out this site as I have shopped here before when I was studying electronics. If you go to the home page and in the search box type TRANSFORMER, you will get like 125 hits, so you could just go through them. Here is ONE that I thought might interest you. I saw about (6) 15V DC transformers but you should look at them first. HTH

Thanks! That looks like just what I needed, and the cost is low to boot!
