Mail Notification Doesn't Work Proper

Usual I have my account set to automatically notify me when someone is answering to a thread I replied or posted .
But since the upgrade (which is of course nice to look at and it's increased features are great) there has one problem came up - mail notification doesn't work for all post I made after the upgrade - it will notify me for all other post before the face lift of PcMech but not the recent ones - does anyone else experience problems like that ???
Thank you
Hpro

Yes.

I found that mail notification only works when you use the Post Reply button. But when you use the Quick Reply option it doesn't work.

Let me figure this out. HPro, is your experience thtat of Krusader's - that this is true of the Quick Reply and not the Post Reply? That will help me track this down.

I have posted a few threads and have not received a reply either. So far all of my replys have been with the quick reply, which is a nice feature. Also I would like to see a link under channels for the pc mech member gallery so from time to time I can see who everyone is.

No, I don't think it has anything to do with IE6 since I'm using it too.

Watch out, Hpro: if your first reply was made via the Post Reply button rather than with the QR feature you WILL get the e-mail notification. Try making your first reply with the QR feature... you won't get any notification at all.

Yes I will try this - just right now it works - and as soon I have moved to europe I think I'll drop microsoft - just spend the whole day today playing RH7.0 it's very interresting , annoying , head breaking - once a while.. hehe..

To doubledragon: Before I would officially link to the members gallery I would want to bring it under the umbrella of PC Mechanic. This means moving it to my server. Until I bother, it will remain an unofficial gallery for the fun of the members, which is cool.

So, has this been ascertained? Is it just the Quick Reply with the problem?

When I reply with Quick Reply, I also get no notification. When I use post reply, I do get auto notification.

it both of them - depends on the guy who started the thread I guess..
I got some notification when used the Quick Reply -- but then again on a other one I don't get it.. like the link about LINUX - I replied with both of them and - I don't get notificated - but this one here I can use again either way and I get the notification..

That's what it is like

Notification still doesn't work

Sorry to have to bother here MR.DRISLEY but mail notification still doesn't work .
It's strange - because I get some notifications of the GD forum but then not one of either hardware , win98 nor win2k ..
Thank you..

I'm not COMPLAINING here - just it is very hard to remember all posts I made during a day which can come as high as 10 or more..
Thank you Mr.Drisley - if you can fix that , which I'm sure of you can.

I have added a couple options to the quick reply. The only thing is that is is not yet tied into your member profile, so regardless of if you have it set ot automatically email you every time, you'll have to check it here. I'll see what I can do about that, but its better than being forced to forego notification on the quick reply.

Check it and let me know if its working for ya.
