Hi all,
I created a new song with Dance Ejay 4 the other day and was wondering what you guys think of it. For those of you who don't know what Dance Ejay 4 is, it's a looping program kind of like fruity loops. See www.ejay.com for info. The song is called "Emotional Distress 150BPM Mix" and is about 5:33 long and is another techno/trance song. When you listene to it, it will really kind of seem like 2 separate songs but it's all one big song. This is the second I've made with Dance Ejay so far and maybe the 5th or 6th overall with the Ejay series. Here's the link to dload. Click here to download The file is in mp3 format and about 5.1mb big. If you download let me know what you think of it. I appreciate you guys taking the time to download and listen to this and comment on it. Thanks in advance! |

Very good! I thought it was a little boring at the begining until about 30 seconds, but other than that I liked it.

If you are not a cable subscriber, which I am not, it is $60 a month, + $5 a month modem rental.
Can't really count the phone line in that equation, we only have one. |

Hey Jenni,
Got an idea for you. Looks like CableOne's price if you have cable is $34.95 +$5.00 for modem rental. Call them up and ask how much service would be for network affiliate access. By out-dated FCC regulations, they had to provide a network-only package -- it's rarely if ever advertised. It's not even their basic cable package -- but it usually only costs around $8-$12/month. Add that to the $34.95, and you've technically got them beat at their own game. But be prepared to fight -- they don't want to give you that package and it may not be available any longer. It's an old regulation that died in 1999, but it's still written into many local franchise agreements. If they say they can't give you a package like that, ask for the name of the person with whom you can speak with at the Long Beach franchise authority. Verify the network-access package is actually written into the franchise agreement and then explain that it is not being offered. As long as CableOne has 1000 subscribers in Long Beach, that information is available for public viewing. -Craig Last edited by audiyoda; 04-28-2002 at 02:07 AM. |

Yeah, the $34.95 a month deal is the slow one, you can get twice as much bandwidth for about $15 more a month, so if I get one, I want to get the faster one.
As for the "network only" package, they would probably tell me that even if I had that, to get the discount you would have to pay "regular" price. Even if they didn't, by the time you add $8-12 to the $54.95, you're right back at the $60-65 dollar level. But, I guess I might could talk myself into the "slow" cable package, lol. I'm tired of downloading 5 meg files for an hour. $20-25 more a month, that wouldn't be too bad I suppose. |

Not bad Floppy! I recently got new speakers, so I had to see how it sounded at various levels and settings. The man downstairs called and aske me to tone it down a little bit! Oops! Good stuff, though.

Took me back to the LSD days. Sent it to my dear 16 year old daughter who lives a few room away and who I hardly talk to any more except to scream at: "Turn that s**t down !
How you doing Jenny?
