Avtars
You have to have 1000 posts to use a custom Avtar? Doesn't that create a SPAM type mentality? Rules are rules and this site is Awesome so more power to ya!

The moderators here are top-notch. If someobody was spamming the site, they would take care of it, I'm sure.

I think the fact that it's set to 1,000 actually would limit spamming. I doubt that someone would spend so much time posting useless posts on a forum just to get an avatar.

You're all probably right...Patience I guess. I am not going anywhere. I can't say enough times how great this site is. Which is to say, the people on it are as well!

Confused,
I got mine at Webshots. I just ran it through Photosuite to get the size correct. There is over a million pictures and such there to pick from. Have fun!! Carl |

re: Confused
I think the avatars are just digital images (jpeg, gif, animated gif), so you could use any digital picture you have on hand...as long as the file size isn't too big.
Also found this site: Avatara.com Cricket

It's pretty cool, but I want to see the dancing hobbes. Just 246 more spams to go. LOL
