Attn admin : Log in time outs
Haven't been here for a while but remember there were complaints in the past about the timing out of log ins while posting.
I just wrote a post and had to cut and paste it into a new posting as it had timed out after less than 10 minutes. (I'm a slow typist !) Anyone else having this problem ? Cheers, Chris |

Howdy,
I see this on very rare occaision and I tend to think its your ISP considering "dumping" you due to what it thinks is inactivity. I get called away from a post on occaision and after 10-15 mins my ISP seems to be starting disconnect routines. Just a guess but other then that, I am of no help. |

More likely is something on your end.
You got anything filtering cookies or deleting them at regular intervals? I've been logged in for months on both my home and work machines. The cookies for persistent logins for the forums stay put unless something gets rid of them usually. |

Opera loses the cookie at various intervals - I've seen anything from 10 minutes to 12 hours. I do have it set to accept all cookies, but also to delete cookies on exit.
