What a morning!

Well, I must have the knack. It doesn't matter how nice the case is I'm working in, I always tend to leave a little DNA around to prove I've been there. This morning takes it. I got through 2 builds without a problem. On the third one, I don't know what happened. Looked at my finger and there was plenty of blood running down it. So, I try to stop the bleeding, and it just kept coming. I finally open the cut to see what happened. My boss thought that maybe I should have it looked at, so I go down to the local doc, and 2 stitched later in the middle finger, I'm back to work.

So, what kind of damage have you all inflicted on yourselves while building / repairing?

Nate

just last week i was *moving* my brothers case and somehow sliced my palm. there weren't any sharp objects on the case!!! oh well, it's the pain of having a hobby.

I have learned to take a box of band-aids and some iodine everytime I step out into the garage.

I don't usually get cuts doing anything on my computer but I just rewired our barn a couple weeks ago and I think I had cuts and abrasions on just about every finger and both arms. Same goes for working on my car.

First build I got a few small cuts from the little pins on my sound card trying to fit it in the PCI slot.

lets see, I've dropped my computer on my foot, that gave me nasty bruise. I've gotten a pretty nasty cut trying to pull a morex power plug thingy out of the cdrom drive and my hand flew back and I cut myself o the powersupply. And one time my finger got cut when I was fooling around with a fan....
