Where do you live? There often held at your local fair grounds if you have such a thing.

Computer shows i watch for are listed at
http://www.marketpro.com/

I goto the shows when they are near by. Normally i get good deals. The Key is walk in, have paper, make a full circle before you buy anything. Write down prices. Alot of the times you will see the same item(brand) priced very different from vendor to vendor. When the shows come to Knoxville TN, I see alot of the same vendors time after time. The Shows listed here are national.

Seems like they would have something in indianapolis or cincinati or some other city close by. Chicago should have a nice show. That isnt real far, but it isnt real close either. I went to a local computer show in St Louis and was not impressed that much. It was mostly business oriented junk.

I was going to suggest:
www.marketproshows.com
which I see is where the above mentioned link takes you to, but I love going to the show, and have bought almost everyting there, except when I need a part right away. It's the challenge, and the hunt I think I enjoy, and I like to have the part in hand, not wait for it thru the mail. Plus I like the competition atmosphere there and buy from fairly local vendors that I can drive back to if I need replacement. I use the web for price checking, then go the the show for the kill!

The local shows are held at the Pomona Fairgrounds. Parking is $6 and admission is $7. OK, no problem so far. However, the isles are so crowded you can hardly walk, the vendors often don't have an established place of business, and the prices were in line with what Mwave charges. Sorry folks, but I just didn't see any great deals on top quality merchandise. I did see some low prices on cheap junk though.
