I had a very disturbing dream last night. scary.

In this dream I see myself in a Russian hut made of wooden logs and everything. There is a long corridor between the main entrance intot this house and another entrance into the room. Along the length of the corridor there is a shelf in the middle, which subdivides one long corridor into two longer corridors. This corridor is about 10 meters long. Anyway. I am near the room insides the house on one end of this corridor. The women, who's faces I could not recognize are hiding in the room, but in the corridor is my grandfather, uncle, me, and my dad. We all have some time or Russian machine gun. What I see next is very scary, in the open door near the entrance to the house there come Nazi soldiers shooting at use with their German machine guns and screaming in Germans something like "shnel shnel!!" They regularly lean and peek into our house and shoot at use. Each of us is also hiding behind the shorter side of the shelf and also look and shoot at the Nazis. I don't remember exactly how it went in this dream, but we killed some nazis. But then one of the Nazi shot through the door and killed my uncle. It was very scary because as you know most dreams don't let you know that it's a dream, so you think it's real life. After my uncle has been killed, me my dad and grandpa got angry and started to shoot more at the Nazis to prevent them from entering our house. I clearly remember that there was little light inside the house where we were, and it felt like dumpness in there. smelled like mold or something. I remember seeing green grass outside where the evil Nazis were running. After the uncles death we shot more Nazis and it seemed like they retreated because we didn't hear anymore shooting. I was glad because I knew the family was safe and we fended ourselves from the German soldiers for a little while at least. But my happiness left me as soon as I heard what seemed to sound like a tank moving toward our house, toward the open door where the Nazis were shooting at us. I remember seeing a green tank. But it wasn't a normal tank. It was a modified tank that, besides the main gun from where the tank shoots, there was a long metal stick about the same length as the gun tube on the opposite site. This metal stick had a heavier mass on the other end. Then the tanks cabin started to spin with a high speed and I realized it was designed to destroy buildings with it's heavy end. It started to destroy the house, then I woke up sweating...................

I don't believe in meaning of dreams but I think I know what may have caused this dream. You see, I lived in Ukraine and was often surrounded by scary stories like this.
Another component is the shooting. I currently play a PC Game called Soldier Of Fortune 2 on the internet in multiplayer games. The shooting is very realistic there, and it may have affected my memory. So basically I was processing the information from the day in my dream.

Unless it took place during WWII, when Germany did invade the Ukraine.

Sauron!!! What the heck are you talking about!? I know wwII history. Ukrainians would never shoot Russians. Ukraine was a part of Russia during the WWII, and Germans had control over Ukraine for a while. In fact they were in the city where I am from . My grandma told me how her family was hiding in the basement when Germans were walking in their house and how they could hear their footsteps above them.

But, really I am not a WW2 freak, I just had this dream that's it.

*wonders why Stalin killed over 60 million Ukrainians* People forget that the Ukrainians, Russians and others were running to Hitler, screaming for help...people also forget that Stalin, and Lenin hated Christians and anything of any religion. They slaughtered many millions of Russians and Ukrainians, and after the world war, Germans.

I was just playing that game and when you were describing the dream, I thought to myself, he must have been playing MOH:AA.

I see what you mean Sauron. But you're mistaken when you say that Russians and Ukrainians were running to Hitler. I think you're just siding with one enterpretation of history. Whatever happened it was done by the government and did NOT represent what people wanted to do. Ukraine was a republic, and not a country during WWII . I am half Ukainian and half Russian. Yes, there was something Soviet Union did to Ukraine that caused a famine and millions of deaths in 1930s, that sucked. Another tihng, as far as I know from what I read, Vladimir Lenin wasn't as tyranical as Stalin. According to historians, he most likely wanted better for Russians. In fact, 1917 revolution was good for Russian people. According to encyclopedia Britannica, after 1917 revolution the people education level rose up to 98 percent in just 15 years or so because so many educational resources became free. But Stalin's regime spoiled everything that could have been. People were killed and sent to camps by thousands.

Also, I have to warn you not to underestimate the vile and horrible things that NAZI's did. Although it's most commonly said that many jews died in WW2, just as many Slavic people were killed in that war. In fact statistics say at least 20 million.

I agree, I have been playing too many war games recently. I playe Medal Of Honor demo, and am waiting for it to arrive to me in mail soon. Game actually may screw up brains.

IMO maybe you should take a few days off away from the computer MOHAA and see how it goes for you. I talk alot a stuff in my sleep and have strange dreams after playing too much MOHAA or other online war games and it really bothers the wife,so try doing something else with your time & see how it goes.
I hope you get this figured out or you'll end up like the rest of us here

While these dreams may be caused from too much time spent playing 1st Person Shooters that have a war theme, it could also be that you are being posessed with the spirits of people who died at the hand of the Nazis, this could very much be the case if there were young children in your dreams since the concept of death is something that they are not fully aware of.
In order to find out if these are true apparations you must conduct a test. What I need you to do, is to get a copy of Deer Avenger and play it approximatly the same amount of time as you have MOHAA and SOF. Then let us know what you are dreaming.

Interesting dream. Sometimes dreams are just dreams. Our subconscience just likes to play out things we are thinking about. Reminds me of childhood dreams where I am running away from ghosts in the woods.
