Rebate check!
Last month I was here ranting about how bad rebates are and how you can never get them fulfilled (See: "Swearing Rebates Off Forever" here) Well, I came back from vacation and in the hold box was a nice $30 check from VisionTek. 3 months late, but nevertheless, mailed to me. So hang in there if you are still waiting for yours.

I like the rebates like you get at best buy, they print you an extra reciept, and give you all the info in writing-with those I have never been hosed.

Whats best buy,LOL.
We got "circuit city" and they print em out to, you gotta be sure and read em closly! They tend to add there own little dialogue. 2 yrs ago I caught em on film switching prices on computer systems, they treat me real good now, but I dont do the rebate thing!..X |

XRUNNER,
I've gotten about $450 back in rebates these year already !! A lot of the stuff I bought was actually Free after rebates. I do try to stick with major companies, as it does seem to lower the chances of getting screwed. Companies like Costco and a few others that make the payment instead of making you go to the manufacture are diffinately the best way to go. You may want to reconsider.... TwoRails |
