I'm looking for a snooping program

Hi all,

Does anyone know of any snooping programs that sit in the background in Windows that monitor and store everything that is typed on a keyboard?

My ex partner is extremely worried about the people her daughter is talking to on the net. She is a young teenager and seems to be talking to people she should not be.

Hi UFOResearcher,

Can remember the names right now, but I believe that www.techtv.com just did a segment on that very subject. You may want to check it out, as different programs do different things; meaning you have a choice to get.

Just take her off the computer for awhile. Make it clear to her "chat buddy" that your M16 is clean.....loaded......and unlocked!

Your concern is more than understood UFOResearcher but you are walking a fine line that is not permitted in these forums, please refer to the FAQ . Why don't you try installing Netnanny or other widely available programs?
There is all sorts of protection available out there on the net without searching these forums for advice on spyware to install.

My 2 cents

I think we can let this one continue as long as we don't start debating the ethics of snooping on your daughter or publicizing known hacking trojans. After all, this is common in the corporate world - logging employees' keystrokes.

I repeat - do not start a debate, suggestions for suitable (and legal) software to achieve the desired result ONLY, any members that disregard this request will receive an official warning as per the FAQ.

Try going HERE
And maybe this will help you
I am against discussions of this nature here. It is a no brainer if you know how to use a search engine or are in any way familiar with the internet. So I will provide you with a link to give you a basic idea.

I'm sorry if my decision displeases you, but I gave it considerable thought. The bottom line is - it's legal, and the link you provided does in fact appear to be what he needs. Thanks for understanding and keeping it low-key.

Hi there,

Sorry if I've caused anyone offence, this software I'm looking for is not for me but for my ex-partner as a concerned mother.

As it happens, it does indeed appear that Spector will be useful to her.

I value the use of this forum and don't want to overstep the mark so apologies to anyone who feels that I did.

Thanks Cobra for the link.

Not Offended here, I'm impressed that you care enough about your ex step daughter to help keep her safe.

Thanks for that Tuf, makes me feel a bit better about the original posting.

Her daughters a bit of a problem kid and is developing an unhealthy interest in the occult and devil worshipping and her mother thinks a few folks on the net are putting stupid ideas in her head.

I don't agree with snooping but on this occasion I hope something positive will be the outcome.

I'm going to close it now - I think the mission has been accomplished and the theme is starting to tend toward the ethics of the situation.
