I'm not Canadian, but some of my best friends and relatives are from Canada: some of my idols too--Hal, Kassia, etc.

No thanks. Canada is a beautiful country, but the government...no thanks.

LOL...yeah, you've got a point. The weirdest thing to me while I spent a couple summers in Canada was the healthcare. Trust me, working in inner-city Regina, I saw the hospital a few times.

You were in Regina??... what did you do here? Must have been the General that you saw..... all I can say is ya... that place is a sight... what a nightmare to navigate too. It's been changed quite a bit in the past 4 or 5 years though.

I was living at Healing Hearts ministries, just hanging out with the neighborhood kids, and helping with whatever they wanted. They were starting construction on the hospital about 4 years back, if I remember right. I was taking some kid in that had glass all over his face, and it was interesting dodging construction equipment to access the emergency area!

LOL... Ya I bet... I know exactly when you're talking about. They were also re-doing the Pasqua hospital at the same time as the Plains, the third hospital, was shut down to be converted to a tech school.

Can't think off hand about the location of Helping Hands though.
