Stop winking at me!!!

Knife and keychain fanatic like me?
Then if you are, you are going to like this. Accidently found this and I went to Buck's website to confirm it exists. Check it out. It's cool. I'm also sure it's the legal length. But what about planes???

being a heavy air traveller....this will get you snagged at the more careful airports...i have seen them take away nail clippers, eye glass repair kits, plastic knives and forks...you name it and you can stab or cut with it, you are better off leaving it behind.

That's gotta be the strangest looking knife I've ever seen! Cute, but strange. As for the airline industry letting it on the plane, I doubt it. Heck, if they won't even allow fingernail clippers on....

Well if you do want to bring a knife with you on the plane I know one thing that will get past them. Check this out. It blends in with keys, they would never be looking for it.

slick, but trust me, if you are running late and need to catch your plane, you don't want any grief in at the security check point and miss your flight (which BTW, the airlines have very little sympathy for you if you do get hung up...unless you are a platinum FF and even then they give you this look that says: you should know better)

I fly frequently. I just toss my pocket knife into my checked luggage when I get to the Airport. Depending on where you are at you could be looking at a several hour delay or worse for trying to take a prohibited item on an airplane.

Why would you need to take a knife on a plane in the first place?

I have found a knife to be the fasest and easiest way to slice the sheathing on cable. Just about everyone I know that deals with cable carries a knife. The problem is it becomes such a habit that it is easy to forget you are carrying it. I'm not talking about a big knife, but one that has a 2" sheapshead blade, but a knife.

I like pocket knives. I would like to collect them, but some of them are really expensive.
I have a couple I carry. A Spiderco "ladybug" and a Colorado. And a big gerber gator in my truck... |
