...and knowing is half the battle

For anyone who wants to remember the good ole days of '80s cartoon animation, Cartoon Network is now showing G.I. Joe at 12:30 A.M. eastern time. I just discovered it last week but it may have been on for awhile.

YO JOE!!!!!!

I remember having some GI Joe action figurines when I was a kid. I also read some of the GIJ comics.

No doubt I'll enjoy watching those cartoons. Thanx.

I have never really been a big fan of G.I. Joe but I do remember watching it...

My favorite carton of all time has to be “Transformers”. I would like to get a hold of some of the toys… Not the new cheesy Transformers but the original.

Do you know if they will be showing them?

...and knowing is half the battle was the catch phrase for the PSA's that were at the end of the episode. Usually some kids were doing something that was legally or morally wrong, one of the Joes would show up and lecture them about what they were doing. After the lecture the kid would say "Thanks , now I know." This was promptly followed in unison by all who were present, "And knowing is half the battle."
