Hey Electronic Music fans
I know there some people besides me who also enjoy electronic (techno/trance) music here on the boards. For those that do, check out the artist Lightworks at www.mp3.com (www.mp3.com/lightworks). This guys makes some excellent trance music (some of the best I have ever heard), and you can download it for free. Be sure to check out his remix of "Redawn". It's awesome trance track; very emotional.
As for me and my music, I'm working on another track also (with Ibiza Ejay), but it will be a little while before it is done. I hope to have some better equipment next Summer too, as Ejay becomes limiting. As the matter of fact, I had a chance to play with a Roland JP8080 the other day (hardware synthesizer). That was a lot of fun, but those puppies are expensive. |

Hi Black Ice,
Thanks for the comments. No I have not made my first cd, and am probably quite far from doing so. Like I mentioned I hope to get some better equipment next year, and hopefully will be able to some more and cooler stuff. I'm working on a song in Ejay right now, it will probably be ready during Christmas break sometime. I'll post a link to dload it when it's ready. |

Found another artist I liked today at mp3.com called Dynamic Music.
http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/345/...ing_music.html Check out "The Holy Dancefloor" and "The Answer (Green Prophet Remix)" Both are great dancefloor/club tunes, and a little harder trance I guess you could say. |

Hi Floppyman and All,
I like to say, "the truth shouldn't hurt you," ..... So, I have to admit that I'm a little chicken about D/Ling music with all the legal battles going on... The site want's you to register, which means ??? they have later recourse if things change?? Is "free" like freeware, or shareware? Is there any real reason I should have concerns?? All advice / comments welcome ![]() TwoRails, the Scaredy-cat

Hi TwoRails,
All you really need to do is type in is your email, nothing else. It does say though that's it's free, when you register I believe. Whether that's going to change in the future, I don't know. You can actually download music there, but you can also by cd's of those artists as well. I know mp3.com has been around a long time, so I would imagine it's a pretty reputable site. Someone else care to join in and elaborate on this? |
