I got my first job as a tech. And was wondering if anyone knows the average pay of an uncertified tech? Like hourly or Commission
Thanks in advance, Insanepyro69 |

I think it depends on what kind of tech you are.

It all depends on the area of the country too.

It does depend greatly on the area of the country. Experience and Certification are generally what employers seek. Just need to look over the want ads and see what employers are paying.

Market place will determine your worth. Put your resume on street. You will soon find out what you are worth. There are guidelines for areas of country but there will be a huge difference between low and top end within a given area.
By interviewing with other potential employers you will soon find out if your current employer is getting a bargin with you or if you are being treated fairly. Chas

Entry level uncertified technician, regardless of what you actually do, usually gets you about $10 an hour.
