This year should be tough! I don't like my odds this year because there are no 'for sures'. Just look at Arizona! Man what a weird loss. Also I am disappointed because the Big Ten sucked Big Time this year. MSU, UoM, Illinois, Indiana and OSU are usually decent to quality teams but who comes out on top this year???? WISCONSIN????

Don't count out the Big Ten yet sleepypost. They are still going to send four to the tourney and will turn some heads. Seeing as how this is their second regular season Big Ten championship in a row (it was split between 4 teams last year), I wouldn't say bad things about Wisconsin (this is coming from a guy who lives for Illini basketball). They are the only team in the Big Ten with a two-time first team Big Ten player and have a great supporting cast. Ask anyone who really knows basketball and they will tell you that Wisconsin, along with Syracuse, Memphis, Dayton, and possibly Arizona State are some of the most underrated teams of this season. If you want to talk about unexpected regular season champs, Wake Forest is the first one that comes to my mind, not Wisconsin.
This is the year of the mid-majors, and Conference USA will finally get the recognition as a power conference that its worked toward for the past ten years. |

But then Wisconsin just lost to OSU. I've watched most Ohio State games this year- and I will say (sadly) that if Ohio State beats you- you are probably not that good. Let's see how they do against MSU today.

Wake Forest is underrated, no doubt, but you have to take into consideration the fact that Duke isn't the force its been for the past ten years. I see the ACC as being like the Big Ten ten years ago when Michigan began to match MSU. The last five years showed that Maryland and Duke were crazy good just like Michigan's answer to MSU's dominance in the eighties. Hopefully Duke will fall in a downward spiral for the rest of time and coach K will be exposed for what he really is: A coach who isn't anything special other than the fact that he has had NBA talent EVERY YEAR at Duke. Look at his record at Army, he was terrible there.
