Just a rant. There are so ,many sites that ask for your email address and often as no they reject mine as invalid. I can understand that maybe if you are using a local isp but they are even rejecting MSN's Hotmail. I hate to run all my business through Yahoo (which they do recognize) when I could be using my primary address and my OE. What kind of software are these guys using and who wrote the code? They should accept anything containing an @ and a .com .net or whatever

They are rejecting "free" e-mail services that are known sources of spam. They actually DO want local ISP's.

Wait, it's not just "free" email spam factorys.
I had to find a .com email address to use for quite a few sites, as a .ca addy is NOT recognized as legit. If I didn't really want the info, I would have politely emailed some of these places and given them a tiny bit of free advice, that being, "America is NOT the only @#&&%&* country on the planet!" If a place cannot accept my .ca addy, then I just use PCMech, and Mailwasher. At least that works. Another note. I have even come across places that won't accept a .net addy as legit. I have a feeling sites like that are written by wannabe's and they haven't figured out that the internet is global. |
