What does your user name mean?
I see a lot of mysterious user names on this forum. Any interesting stories behind them?
Mine's boring: an anagram of two car brands. |

15 - the age i was when i first signed up for e-mail... i was looking for something with homer, and homer was already taken, so i figured just attach the age at the end of it and *bam* homer15 was created.

Colonel Sanders - The KFC mascot. I was playing TFC one day and got tired of the default "player' so I decided to change to a "war-hero" name.

When I first came here, I was but a learner. Now I am the Master...the circle is complete.
Seriously, though. I picked Padawan because I joined right after Episode I came out, and I am a huge Star Wars fan. |

I got tired of seeing "lilthis" or "Pimpthat"...I wanted a name that was completly unique, so one day I just sat in front of the PC for like an hour and tried all kinds of different names...Trying to think of cool names at first, then just random letters. then avx was born
sadly...everyone is a copy cat, so my name started getting used from time to time. January 4 1987 ismy gf's borthday, and since I too am born in january, I never forget that, so I get 487

At the end of 5th grade my friend and I started a club and he called it the renegades. A few days later I made my first email account on yahoo. I chose RenegadeKing, and I've been using it on everything ever since.

The "Force Flow" part of my screen name comes from the screen name of a character in a Star Wars book, whom I feel I share some similar physical and personality traits. I just tacked on the "2002" when I signed up for an email account during Y2K.
My Computer Slayer title comes from my boss at work. (More like a friend than a boss, actually). Anyway, I'm always pushing what I can do with technology. I sometimes push over the limit and break something, but I always fix it in one way or another.

There is a great Russian poem called TELEFON about animals talking to each other on the telephone and asking each other for things.
KROKADIL is, of course, crocodile and the star of the second stanza. And the letters can be easily transliterated. |

Eaglefeather is my true North American Aboriginal name. The story behind how I was honoured with the name is very long so I will not relate it here.
Suffice to say I was presented with an Eagle Feather by a Bald Eagle, a very rare honour. An elder gave me the name Eaglefeather shortly after that event.

qwert, cause its the fastest thing in the world to type, if you cant get it then I laugh at you, ant the 666 cause qwert was taken and I wanted to be ageless so instead of the age I used 666, also occasionally for gaming I use yevrah which is my first name backwards (its a DnD thing) so there you have it

Iman74 because a friend/employee of my wife calls me that and I liked it so much I use it as my handle for everything. The 74 because seems like I'm not the only Iman out there so I end using the year I was born 74.

Vsyo na bumage, droog moi. (for our esteemed Russian brethren) 420 is a common sign used by an organisation of dope smokers, by the way. Like a gang member throwin he set, yo. Cuz... Unity through recreational pharamaceuticals! Drug users, UNITE! jeez heh |

From the Oxford University Dictionary of Jamaican English:
" Parangles: Complicated or involved matters, a thing with many implications or elements, probably from a combination of paraphanalia and bangles." Hey ! sounded like a good idea for a computer forum nickname at the time. Cheers, Chris. |
