Question

OK, who has the weatherbug from the ad pop-up? Did the pop-up stop?
I know I sure can't afford a Porshe.

Hi Carlgif!

My Daughter downloaded it on to my 'puter. No the popup doesn't go away.

But, the bug hasn't caused any trouble yet. And the Info is pretty good if you like to know the weather.

Gotta get my kids on Linux, at least I can keep them from downloading anything that catches their eye!!!! They've caused some really good crashes on Windoze for me!! But I guess this is how we learn.

That pop up showed up on me too...O course I didn't pay a luck of attension to it, since I figured it was just another Ad. But it took up most of the screen....and it looked like a program on my computer had a bug and that was a generated response to send in a bug report....I remember it was asking for my email address....

It was very misleading and some people might believe their computer had a problem because of it.....

I hope that Ad is took down.....

Just d/l'd POW and it works great. No pop-ups. Best part is it's free and very small.

I used to get the popups on wetherbug alot, but for some reason, I don't get them anymore. Maybe they stopped doing it.......

I want too pleased with em anyhoo...

If you have ad subtract, connect the weatherbug through that, it will block all the ads coming in, but allow the rest of the data to come in.
