Is everyone getting a popup every time you log on to this board? I do & was just wondering if its mostly just me?
If everyone is getting it, how long are we going to have to live with this thing? |

Yup, there is a pop up everytime, guess it's advertising from the host.

The $%&*# popup is broken today - it still pops up but it says OOPS, we are having a problem!

Archie, yep thats the link.
My cursor vibrates like mad with the icons. I don't mind though, I like the icons. Carl |

I get the popup, but for some reason it minimises itself soon after it starts loading??

Thanks, I'm glad its not just me!!! I just wonder how long we are going to have to suffer with it? Its a waste because I don't think too many people even let it open. I know I don't & never will.

David and I are currently back-loged with stuff to do for school. Please give us a month and I can assure you we'll get rid of them. We're also working on speeding up the server.

This is how POW works for those who may be interested ...
First of all, it is freeware provided by AnalogX, the same people who supply Proxy [which I've been using for a while]. This application is also very small and installs by default in the program files folder. The user has the option to add to start menu or open when needed. It then places an icon in the tray. It will allow the pop up to show up the first time. From POW's menu, select add/edit popup, double click on the link, which gets added to the list of popups that are not to reappear. It does what it claims to do and does it nicely ... it gets two thumbs up. |
