Heat Wave!

Yes, we're having one, right here in Upstate NY. Right now, by the mercury it's 97F in sunlight. I'm being cautious about doing any gaming on my rig, especially since we don't have AC!

I heard that it was close to 100º in NYC on Tuesday.

We haven't gotten a lot of heat yet, but on Tuesday there was a lot of severe weather here, including several tornados and lots of flooding. The poor people who still haven't gotten their power back can't even think about gaming.

That's what we have had here for the last couple of days. It was about 95' and 80% humidity. I tried to be a hermit, but it didn't work. Ended up playing some basketball and golf, and drank about 3 gallons of water.

I think my Athlon 2400 is going to have a short life. LITE gaming makes it jump to 55 degrees and the system temp... well... Yet of all things, my friends sleeps in the sun, getting a tan in 100+ degrees of sun... strange days...

Here in New Mexico it has been in the 90s for well over 2 months and the temps have hit the 100s more than enough, but today is one of those few days where it is overcast and the temp is nice and cool. I think the high for today is 80'F

Past 2 days it was in the 90's here, but a front came through last night and this morning, it's 73 here right now. Relief is on its way to the East Coast.

The high today in NYC was 97degrees! All of a sudden too...We've had the only rainy Spring, hardly any sunlight... I'm happy to see the heat though, and my Pc's are in AC cooled rooms, so all is good

It's always one extreme or the other here on the eastcoast. It's either really cold for a long time, a lot of rain if any, and then heat. But I don't complain for I remember, when it's hot, people are asking for cold weather, when it's cold people are asking for warm weather, when it's raining they are asking for sun, and when there is a drout (like last year) they are complaining there is no rain. I just try to make the best of it. Especially when it's hot, I try to have my lunch in my car facing the beach. But the best is when there is huge winds and tons of rains. One time when I was working in Norwalk, CT I had my lunch parked and faced the waters. There were waves so big; in California this is normal, but you never see stuff like this in the East Coast.

A nice day, hot or cold, is fine for me
So long as I'm not shoveling large amounts of snow no time soon
