i'm setting aside my skepticism and i'm going to buy a PDA. i intend to use it to take notes in class by hooking it up with one of those folding keyboards. i plan to download the class notes to word and work on them from there.
so in your humble opinion, which one would be the best for that? i don't intend to use it as anything other than a way to take notes faster in class. i guess it would be nice to be able to play mp3's from it, but that's not a necessity and i refuse to pay extra just for that capability. |

for price the III models or go for the $149 M-100. For the $ and what you intend to use it for, should work out fine.

The only thing I have against the M100 and the IIIe is lack of flash ROM. And if you're going to be taking notes, you could fill up a PDA quickly if you have other apps loaded -- I'd go for the IIIxe with it's 8Meg of RAM. I've seen it on sale for under $200.00 recently.
