You all may notice that the forum may be going off and online throught the next few days because I am doing updates. I just did an update that will hopefully speed this ordeal up a bit...

While you are at it - can you fix the time? It's been 1 hour fast since DST ended.

I don't know reboot, I've not had that problem. Even while I've been downloading some files via usenet.

LOL....good one 'boot
The actual loading of the page(once the host contacted and finally replies) seems to have sped up..but when contacting the host...it still sometimes takes forever for it to reply..throw in all those adservers and there really is not too much of a speed increase...then again I'm still on a dialup too so maybe this doesn't mean too much.[Edited by Floppyman on 12-15-2000 at 09:21 PM] |

I must apologize for a reply to a concern about the time a while back ...
http://206.161.202.65/forum/showthre...?threadid=5573 ... thinking that it was only a regional issue. There may be some rough times in the next couple of days but the outcome will be of benefit to all of us.

It seem's to a little faster getting around, hard to tell for me, cable and all. But I'll come back here if it seem's to be similar, and post again. Let me get some more parusing in, and I'll be back.
