That is a tricky one, I can see why the family of the slain motorist is going after Take-Two Interactive for they are more likely to get money from them than the family of the boys. However, I would also sue the parents for the boys for being irresponsible, just to get some kind of justice.

This is the irresponsible United States of America at our best. Maybe the kids should have had better parents, but then again parents are no longer able to be parents.

This will never end. We just have to deal with the lower intelligence around us.

You obviously didn't get the 'Game of the Year' edition.

I feel sorry for the parents but they don't realize that teenagers have learned that the media love to blame music, movie, and video games for teenage violence. These kids use videogames as an easy scapegoat for their actions. I swear if Osama listened to Marylin Manson we would be blaming him for the terrible things that happened nearly 2 years ago. I feel that if these kids did something that evil, videogames had nothing to do with it. They were gonna do it sooner or later, whether they had played GTA or not. Errr...crap like this angers my blood.

C'mon, blame the game?

How about taking a look at the following scenarios:

1) How did 2 minors leave the house with shotguns (they aint exactly small firearms)?

2) Where were the parents? at that age, if I wanted to the borrow the car, i got the 3rd degree on why. ( I could see it then: "gee mom, we're going out to shoot some people on the highway", that would have gone over really well with my parents.

3) where was the gun charge in what they pled guily to? In many states having a loaded firearm in a vehicle is a felony.

Sometimes after playing 1942 I feel like stealing an Apache and bombing a few cars.

It doesn't matter. The lawsuit is baseless, it will be thrown out, the parents will have to pay legal fees in exchange for their 15 minutes of fame garnered from this lawsuit, and life will go on.
